A Girl,6, Is Rescued By An Officer From The Kidnapper’s Car (ZYT OYT)

Louisville, Kentucky, 2 July

A kidnapper was arrested after he was seen by a passerby kidnapping a minor from the playground.

Cops reunited a 6-year-old girl with her family, and arrested the 40-year-old Robby Wildt, for kidnapping a minor, in Louisville, Kentucky on 2nd July 2021.

Witnesses spotted a guy pull a little girl off Haney Road, not far from Valley Station Road and put her in his car, according to an arrest citation. They quickly called 911 with a very detailed description of the event and the vehicle and even had a partial license plate. Surrounding Divisions and resources (K9 & Air Units) were called to the area. Fortunately, the entire incident only lasted about 30 minutes due to the quick actions of the community and the Louisville Metro Police Department.

Officer Jason Burba’s body camera footage shows him open the suspect’s car’s passenger door and seeing a small child weeping. The girl wailed: “I want my Daddy,” when Burba picked her up and walked her away from the suspect’s car.

According to the police, the suspect made several admissions admitting that what he did was improper and that he felt horrible about it. Wildt was taken into custody and charged with kidnapping a juvenile. He entered a not guilty plea in court the next day after the arrest. His bail has been set at USD 1 million (722,605 GBP).
