This is the moment an adorable and extremely loyal dog sits next to its owner who is being treated on a stretcher in a hospital following a car accident in China.

Local new site Weibo reported that the dog owner, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital in Qidong City in the eastern-central coastal province of Jiangsu in China following a car accident last Sunday (6th June).

The heartwarming footage captured by an unidentified person in the hospital and has since been uploaded to several TikTok accounts.

The medical staff appear to accept the fact that the pet is not going to leave the woman’s side so they stroke and pet the dog whilst they examine the patient.

Netizens reacted to the footage expressing their admiration for the loyal pup.
