Breastfeeding Mum Runs To Safety As Armed Thieves Smash Way Into Bookies And Rob Cash

This is the moment a breastfeeding mother has to run for cover as two armed thieves enter her betting agency and steal her takings.

The incident was filmed in the city of General Roca in the Argentine province of Rio Negro at around 6pm on 3rd June with the footage being released by local media on Monday.

In the CCTV footage, the woman is seen breastfeeding her baby as two thieves enter, with one of them attempting to kick down the door to her office while the other points a gun at the mother’s head.

They force their way into the office and apparently know exactly where to look for the cash before darting outside with a blue box.

The mother and owner of the betting agency hid in a room with her baby daughter until the thieves mounted their getaway motorbike and fled the scene.

The woman, name not disclosed, told local media that the incident was “a fright” but that she also feels “angry” and “tired” about the rising number of robberies taking place in the area.

She claimed she has been robbed four times and for that reason she “is no longer afraid”, adding: “I’m just tired of getting robbed. It’s like a fee you have to pay.

“If you don’t act fast, you just freeze. I sheltered my girl and went to the side of the premises.”

The woman said she then hit the panic button, adding: “The alarm began to sound and that is why they were so angry and smashed the door to pieces.”

The police investigation is ongoing.
