Brit Supercar Lotus Opens New Look Showroom In Bahrain
British automotive firm Lotus has launched its modern new showroom in Bahrain where sports car lovers can find the new Emira.
The modern showroom opened in the upscale shopping centre Moda Mall located in the centre of Bahrain’s capital Manama.
Lovers of the British manufacturer, founded by Colin Chapman in 1948 and headquartered in Norfolk today, will find the new Lotus Emira with plans to introduce their first electric ‘hypercar’ the Evija later in 2021.
The Exige Sport Final Edition is also expected to be in showrooms before 2022.
The new showroom is operated with partners Adamas Motors, who distribute the sports cars around the Middle East.
Lotus executive director of sales Geoff Dowding said: “It is the perfect location for the world debut of our new retail identity and it looks brilliant.
“Our new identity has been designed to adapt to the different markets that Lotus sells in around the world today, and will sell in tomorrow, and to reflect the cultural nuances and different consumer preferences in those markets.”
Lotus hopes to take on sports-car giants Porsche, Bentley and Ferrari with their new-look showrooms and models.
Lotus Cars managing director Matt Windle said: “This year is a pivotal one for Lotus, particularly with our sports cars, because we reach the end of one era and begin another.
“The spirit and passion that gave the world models like the Elise, Exige and Evora will live on in the next generation of cars such as the all-new Lotus Emira.”
