British Woman, 28, Dies 2 Days After Liposuction Op In Turkey
A British woman who travelled to Turkey to have some excess fat removed from her hips has died two days after the liposuction op.
British national Diarra Akua Eunice Brown, 28, visited the unnamed clinic in the suburb of Bahcelievler in the Turkish city of Istanbul for liposuction surgery on her hips on 22nd October.
The young woman was discharged a day later when she had no adverse reactions to the procedure, and returned to the clinic two days later for checks and to change the dressing.

According to the news site Sabah, the British woman suddenly fell ill while the plastic surgeon, identified as S.G.B., was changing the dressing and her condition quickly deteriorated. Brown died later the same day.
An investigation has been launched after the incident and S.G.B. has been taken into police custody.
The surgeon said the British woman fell ill suddenly and has no idea what caused her death, according to the news site Haberler.

Following an examination at the city’s Forensic Medicine Institute, Brown’s body was sent back to the UK for burial.
The police investigation is ongoing.
