Brush Fire That Started From A Burst Into Flames Vehicle Charred Area Slated For A Housing Tract Development

A brush fire is seen advancing rapidly towards the busy highway where trucks and cars drive. The heavy blaze broke out from a vehicle that burst into flames on Interstate 215 south of Clinton Keith Road near the Murrieta and Menifee border, California on 12th July. The flame was reported shortly after 1pm, with the vehicle burning on the southern edge of the freeway, and the flames spread west of the highway. Firefighters fought the flames from the ground and from the air. The spread of the fire was stopped at 3pm with 25 acres burned, but the crews remained on stage until nightfall. Highways 2 and 3 to the south were remained closed and traffic was backed up to Newport Road. Instead, all lanes remained open on the north side of the highway. There were reports of injuries and no structures burned. The charred area of ​​flames is a popular destination for mountain biking, scheduled for the development of a housing system. No further details are known.
