Bungling Pedicurist Sparks Fireball With Alcohol Container And Sets Ablaze Several Clients
This is the moment a bungling Chinese pedicurist pours alcohol into a pan and sparks a huge fireball, setting fire to several clients who scramble outside ablaze.
The incident was filmed at a pedicure parlour in the city of Xuzhou in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu on 7th May.
A female worker poured alcohol into a pan and inadvertently set fire to the container which erupted in a fireball and set fire to several clients.
According to the news site Baidu, the burned customers and worker were treated at a nearby medical centre and the parlour involved has been instructed by the authorities to properly train their staff members.
In the CCTV footage, customers are seen lying on loungers in the parlour as a woman takes a container of flammable liquid and pours it into a pan on the floor.
The liquid promptly ignites and sets fire to the container which erupts in a huge fireball.
The woman is seen consumed in flames as several clients also catch alight before they can jump off their lounger.
The worker and row of clients then run outside with the clothes of several men apparently on fire.
One man’s top is complete ablaze as he rips it off while on the run, and exits the parlour topless.
No details were available of the extent of the injuries suffered by those who caught fire who were treated.
