CAN YOU DIG IT? Toddler Shows Off Skills In Mini Digger Built By Dad

This is the moment a three-year-old boy shows off his excavating skills in a bespoke mini digger made by his quarry-owning dad.

Dad Zheng Luoxi, 27 – boss of a quarry in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, eastern China – noticed how his son was fascinated by construction vehicles.

The proud dad told local media how he had been exactly the same as a lad when an uncle took him to look at a building site.

He said it “planted a seed” deep inside him and he would often sneak to the construction site to peek at the diggers whenever he got the chance.

So proud Luoxi was not surprised when his son started to share his obsession and started researching how to build a child-sized digger for him.

He spent his spare moments constructing his son’s first vehicle in a small studio and eventually completed it in just a year.

Videos of the youngster using the diggers show him skillfully digging up a weed-logged waterway and swivelling the arm to dump the debris.

Luoxi said: “Its speed is about 10kph, which is similar to a quick walking pace.”

The young lad then taught himself how to operate it within a couple of weeks.

Luoxi told local media: “With the second digger, I improved the design a bit and replaced the tracks with rubber wheels.”

He added: “Although my son is only three years old, he has been operating the digger for about 18 months.

“At the start, he taught himself the basics in about two weeks.”
