Combat Firing Of The S-400 Air Defense System At The Telemba Training Ground In Buryatia
The Southern Military District’s air defence units conducted live-fire from S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems at air targets at the Telemba specialist testing ground in Buryatia during exercise recently.
Combat launches of anti-aircraft missiles were conducted at Saman targets simulating conventional enemy air targets at long and short ranges and altitudes.
The activities of radio engineering teams were also carried out as part of the preparation to ensure control over the air situation, detect, monitor objectives, and give target designations.
About 300 servicemen from the Southern Military District participated in the drill, which included more than 50 military and special equipment units.
