Convicted Polish Murderer Who Killed Former Police Officer Nabbed After Thermal Imaging Camera Spots Him Under Trailer
This footage shows a convicted murderer who was hiding from police under a trailer being arrested when a helicopter equipped with a heat-detecting camera informs colleagues on the ground of his location.
Sylwester Krajewski was wanted for murder after he killed a former cop in Buckinghamshire. He tried to give cops a fake name and has since been jailed for life for a minimum of 35 years on Thursday, 24th February.
The Thames Valley Police said in a statement obtained by Newsflash that “officers caught Sylwester Krajewski after he murdered Clive Porter on 26 April last year near to the Grand Union Canal, Aylesbury.”

They added that the wanted man was already a convicted killer in his home country Poland and had been on the run since absconding into 2005. They said: “Yesterday Krajewski was sentenced to life imprisonment and must serve a minimum of 35 years. When arrested Krajewski gave false details to hide who he really was – a convicted murderer from Poland who absconded in 2005 and had been on the run since.”
Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Andy Shearwood of Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit, said: “This was an unprovoked and violent attack on Clive, who was going about his daily work. He could not have known who he would be confronted by that day and the level of violence he would be subjected to, leading to his death.
“My thoughts remain with Clive’s family at this difficult time.”
