This is the moment a cute panda cub chomps on bamboo and play fights with its mum at a Japanese zoo.

Adventure World, a theme park in the Japanese prefecture of Wakayama, released the adorable video of the panda frolicking in its enclosure on YouTube where it has been viewed nearly 60,000 times.

In the video, the panda cub named Kaedehama is seen chomping on bamboo and play-fighting with its mum Rauhin.

In another cute clip, the pair is seen cuddling on the floor of their enclosure.

An older video shows Kaedehama exploring everything in its vicinity and face-planting the ground.

At one point, the fluffy cub is seen trying to stand on its hind legs, but loses balance and falls forwards, face-planting the ground and looking anxiously into the camera.

Apparently slightly shaken, the panda recovers and continues on its way as the footage ends.

Kaedehama was born on 22nd November 2020 weighing only 157 grammes, and the zoo said that its growth has been steady and it is getting to know its surroundings.
