Delivery Man Needed Stitches After Being Chased And Bitten On The Bottom By Pig

This is the moment a large pig chases a deliveryman and ends up biting him on the bum, causing a seven-centimetre puncture wound that needed 14 stitches.

The pig attack took place in Jardim Bonsucesso in the municipality of Franca in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo on 18th July.

The owner of the animal has at least promised to cover the unfortunate man’s medical expenses, according to the victim.

Willian de Souza Rodrigues, 43, confirmed he suffered a seven-centimetre puncture in the buttocks and needed 14 stitches after the attack.

In the CCTV footage, the deliveryman is seen dropping his motorbike to the ground to run away from a large rogue pig in the street.

The pig chases the man and he falls over, quickly getting to his feet.

After a tense standoff, the man tries to run and falls over again.

While on all-fours on the ground, the man is apparently bitten hard on the bum and he is seen trying to get to his feet as the clip ends.

Meanwhile, despite there being dozens of motorists around at the time, some who were filming and laughing from their vehicle, no one went to help the deliveryman.

According to Willian, the owner of the pig arrived on the scene shortly after the video ends and offered to pay for all the deliveryman’s costs.

Willian told local media: “It was a very sad and embarrassing situation. People passing by were filming and laughing, nobody stopped to help.

“If he (pig) bit my throat, I would have bled to death.”

He added that he was instructed by doctors not to work the next few days.

It is unclear if the local authorities are investigating the incident.
