Drone Helps Cops Locate Crashed Plane And Rescue Passengers

BIG CYPRESS NATIONAL PRESERVE, FLORIDA – Cops have used a drone to find a crashed plane, The rescue mission was carried out by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office that used the drone for the rescue after the plane crash. The single-engine plane collapsed in the Big Cypress National Preserve area, two miles south of Interstate 75 in Florida on 8th June. Authorities were informed of the accident at 10.41 a.m. A drone unit then located the aircraft and two men who were on board at the time of the accident. None of the people involved in the accident was badly injured. During the rescue operation the National Park Service, Miami-Dade Fire Department, and FHP provided assistance. The reason for the crash is currently being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration as well as the National Travel Safety Board.
