Drunk Man Sprays Bleach In Sleeping Boys Face And Tries To Flee In Car With 2 Other Kids

This is the moment US cops arrest a drunk man for spraying a sleeping child’s face with bleach before going on the run with two other children in his vehicle.

The incident took place in the city of Ormond Beach in Volusia County in the US state of Florida on Saturday morning.

Mack Arline, 31, was arrested after a mother-of-three flagged down the police and showed them a video of the suspect spraying Clorox bleach in a sleeping four-year-old child’s face before pouring flammable liquid around the home, according to the police.

The woman, name not disclosed, claimed Arline was extremely drunk at the time and threatened to burn down the home and kill the children.

The police arrived and found the suspect trying to reverse out of the driveway with two young children in the car.

The police said he was holding an 11-month-old baby, who was only wearing a nappy, across his chest while a two-year-old boy was sitting in the passenger seat without a belt on.

Officers arrested Arline, stating that he smelled of booze and did not appear coherent.

The police found the four-year-old child asleep on the bedroom floor in the house with the bleach bottle nearby.

Cops then found an empty bottle of torch fuel on the bed in the main bedroom that had apparently been doused in the flammable liquid.

Officers then reviewed the video filmed by the woman and saw the suspect kick a toy car at the sleeping youngster before spraying him with bleach and ordering him to wake up while swearing and using a racial slur, according to the police.

A second clip showed the man dousing the main bedroom in flammable liquid.

Meanwhile, the police found a bottle of Grey Goose vodka on the floor in the car as well as a plastic cup that smelled of alcohol in the cupholder.

It is unclear if the suspect is in a relationship with the woman and if he is related to any of the three children.

According to the police, Arline was so drunk he had to be carried and placed in the cop car before being taken to the county jail on charges of child abuse, DUI, attempted arson, and driving with a suspended or revoked license, among others.

He also reportedly violated his probation for a previous charge of false imprisonment, when someone unlawfully restrains another person without their consent.

Arline is being held on remand without bond as the investigation continues.
