This is the moment a blooded 84-year-old man is found by officers in the middle of a desert and taken to safety.

The vulnerable senior was reported missing by his family, and a police Silver Alert was activated, on April 25, 2022, around 4:00pm.

Around midnight, his vehicle was located in a rural part of Scottsdale, Arizona.

Police worked with a DPS air unit and were able to locate the injured man in the area at around 2:00am.

Footage from body cameras shows the senior – wearing just a T shirt and shorts – collapsed on a ravine floor with deep cuts to his arms and legs.

When police asked him how he was doing the game senior claimed: “I can walk.”

Police then carried and dragged him towards a clearing to a waiting helicopter and medics.
