Firefifghters Working on Pine Fire Spot
Pine Creek Canyon, Bishop, 7 July
Bishop Fire Department shared a video with a firefighters team working on Pine Fire spot to bring down the flames. The Pine Fire was reported at 3.16 pm in Pine Creek Canyon west of Bishop on the 7th of July. Ground crews were heavily supported with aviation resources dropping water in an almost continuous stream throughout the day. Now the Pine Fire is 100 per cent content. Four electric poles in Southern California Edison (SCE) were knocked down by flames during the brush fire. As a result, there will be restraints for drivers on Pine Creek Road as crews work to repair and replace the poles. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
