Firefighters Dance Down Mountain As Rain Falls On Eighth Day Of Forest Blaze

This is the moment ecstatic Chinese firefighters skip down a mountain when rain starts to fall after eight days trying to put out a forest blaze.

The incident was filmed near the town of Shilong in Liangshan in the Chinese province of Sichuan on 27th April.

According to the news site Baidu, the firefighters spent over a week battling a forest blaze before heavy rain started to fall on the eighth day.

In a show of joy, firefighters filmed colleagues skipping and dancing down the mountain after the heavens opened, making their arduous task a whole lot easier.

During the forest blaze, the fire brigade reportedly sent a team of 20 firefighters and three fire engines to the scene.

Meanwhile, five helicopters were used to help firefighters tackle the flames.

The forest fire has since been extinguished and the authorities are in the process of cleaning up the affected area and carrying out checks.

No casualties were reported during the forest blaze.

In the first video, five ecstatic firefighters are seen skipping among the burned area as thick dark clouds fill the sky.
