Fury Over Cuffed Cop Being Covered In Flour And Eggs On Birthday During Work Hours
An investigation is being carried out after Mexican cops covered a colleague in tomato sauce, flour and cheese in order to turn him into a human pizza in a bizarre workplace birthday ritual.
The incident was filmed at a police station in the Mexican state of Chihuahua and reportedly features Traffic Police officers celebrating a colleague’s birthday in riotous style.
In the footage, two officers are seen cuffing the birthday boy on the floor before pouring tomato sauce and flour over his head.
As onlookers wail in laughter, one cop smashes several eggs on the man.
The heavyset cop is then rolled around the mess on the floor before being uncuffed and allowed to stand up.
He is then presented with a birthday cake and his face is pushed into it by a colleague as the footage ends.
However, the messy celebration was criticised by netizens after being widely shared on social media as it was apparently carried out during work hours and numerous on-duty officers were present.
Emilio Garcia Ruiz, secretary of Public Security in the state, confirmed that they are aware of the video and will identify the officers involved and determine whether they will face punishment for holding the celebrating during work hours.
Facebook user ‘Silvia De Valencia’ commented: “So incredibly stupid.”
Netizen ‘Blanca Valdez’ said: “How humiliating, this is not funny.”
