A father suffered a severe heart attack when Iranian intelligence agents raided his home to arrest his 20-year-old daughter.
Suspect Shaghayegh Khaneh Zarrin was seized in Shiraz in the southern Iranian province of Fars at around 8am on 26th June.
During the raid, her father Farzad reportedly suffered a heart attack when intelligence agents placed his daughter under arrest and started to lead her away.
According to local reports, Farzad was leaving his home when he walked into the agents in the street.
He was told to go back inside the house and was not given any explanation as to why they were searching his home and ordering his daughter to prepare to leave with them.
During the terrifying raid, Farzad started suffering from chest pains and Shaghayegh wanted to call an ambulance.
But the agents reportedly stopped his daughter from calling paramedics before it became obvious that her father needed urgent medical care.
According to local media, the agents forced family members to tidy up the home as they waited for the ambulance to arrive.
Farzad was rushed to hospital and is said to be in a serious condition.
In front of a large crowd outside the house, agents took Shaghayegh to the Shiraz Intelligence Detention Centre.
The Iranian authorities arrested three women in total in Shiraz, naming Negar Ighani and Jila Sharafi Nasrabadi as the other two detainees.
The charges against the three women are currently unknown.
