Las Vegas Cops Rescued Dog In Distress While Owner Was Shopping

Las Vegas Valley, Nevada, 10 July

Las Vegas Police broke the window of a car to save a dog that was about to suffer a sunstroke. A passerby reported to police about a dog in distress that is locked in a hot car on a Goodwill parking lot at Flamingo and Fort Apache roads in Las Vegas Valley, Nevada on 10th July. Arriving at the reported address, the officers had to break the window to recover the animal. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said: “Do NOT leave pets in hot cars.

“This was in the heat of the day and likely could have turned deadly within minutes.”

The dog was taken into care by animal control, and the owner who was shopping at the time was arrested.
