Man Gets Comeuppance As Crane Pecks His Bum After Teasing It With Twig
This is the moment a man is pecked on the bum by a crane after teasing it with a twig at a Chinese nature reserve.
The incident was filmed at the Zhalong Nature Reserve near the city of Qiqihar in China’s northernmost and easternmost province of Heilongjiang last week.
According to the news site Toutiao, the man, name not reported, wanted to approach a red-crowned crane and asked several park visitors to take photos from the sidelines.
While playing up to the cameras, the man teased the crane with a twig with a big smile on his face, however, the angry bird got its revenge when his back was turned.
In the footage, the grinning man is seen waving a twig in the crane’s face as a small group of people film and take photos from the sidelines.
Apparently feeling pleased with himself, the man turns away with a smug look on his face.
However, the crane sees a window of opportunity to get its own back on the man and suddenly lunges forwards to peck his bum.
Surprised, the man hops and walks away.
A Zhalong Nature Reserve spokesperson said patrolling guards will always stop any untoward behaviour if they see it, adding that signs are erected around the park to remind visitors to not tease the animals.
