Miami Police Officers Shine Lights For Surfside High-Rise Condo Victims
Miami, Florida, 24 June
Miami Beach police officers offered touching respect to the victims who were trapped and lost their lives in the high-rise condo skyscraper in Surfside which partially collapsed last month on 24th June. The gathered people paid tribute to all of the Surfside victims, their families and first responders involved in this national tragedy in the building that collapsed just hours before it was demolished. The people who paid respect stood shoulder to shoulder, holding lights aloft in honour of the victims on 4th July.
In addition to the footage, the Miami Beach PD wrote: “This evening, in a show of solidarity and support with our neighbouring town, the City of Miami Beach has encouraged everyone to shine a light paying tribute to all of the Surfside victims, their families and first responders involved in this national tragedy. We were proudly joined by members of the Miami Beach Fire Department and our 911 Dispatchers.”
