Moment Chilean Striker Jumps In Bin After Scoring Last Gasp Winner

This is the moment a Chilean striker scores an 87th-minute winner in a hard-fought league game and jumps into a bin to celebrate.

The unusual goal celebration was filmed during Deportes Magallanes’ 2-1 win over CD Arturo Fernandez Vial in Chile’s second-tier league Primera B on 15th July.

The game started well for Magallanes and they took the lead in the fifth minute, however, their opponents managed to equalise in the 57th minute and nearly held on for a draw.

With three minutes of normal time remaining, striker Miguel Orellana, 31, popped up to score a late winner.

Caught up in the moment, the Chilean forward ran off the field of play and jumped straight into a bin.

Despite becoming a hit among netizens after the video was widely shared on social media, Orellana’s teammates were apparently not impressed at the time and no one went to celebrate the goal with him.

In the end, the striker had to get out of the bin by himself and return to the field.

In the footage, Orellana is seen finishing a loose ball just outside the six-yard box before running off-field.

Shouting “vamos” as he takes to the air, Orellana jumps into the bin and is then congratulated by a member of staff.

However, no teammates join him and he gets out of the bin a lonely figure as the clip ends.
