Moment Chinese Doctor Resets Boys Jaw After His Mouth Locked During Swab Test

This is the moment a Chinese medic resets a teenager’s jaw after his mouth locked during a swab test.

The nucleic acid sample was taken during mass testing in the city of Guangzhou in the south-eastern Chinese province of Guangdong on 9th June.

The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University sent 1,617 medical teams to carry out mass testing in Guangzhou, collecting over 300,000 samples.

Deputy chief physician Dr Liang Yancan of the oral medicine department said that a male student’s jaw dislocated while taking a sample.

Luckily, the medic knew how to reset a person’s dislocated jaw and managed to help the teen with his technique in just a few seconds.

The doctor added that the boy’s condition is probably due to a recurring injury and he should have his ligaments checked by a specialist.

In the footage, the boy apparently points out that he is unable to close his mouth as the doctor massages his cheeks and asks some questions.

The medic then puts his fingers in the boy’s mouth and under his chin before applying pressure.

The relieved teen wipes his brow in relief as he is able to close his mouth and the video ends.
