This is the moment a young girl shoves her rabbit towards the door and promptly leaves the room after her dad finds her wearing his slipper-shaped phone case as actual footwear, breaking his phone in the process.

Mr Deng, from the city of Guangzhou in the south-eastern Chinese province of Guangdong, shared the video on the social network Douyin on 5th September where it has been widely shared by netizens.

He said he was working from home one day when he couldn’t find his phone and went hunting for it.

After being unable to track down his phone for a while, Mr Deng then noticed that his daughter was wearing something familiar on one foot – his slipper-shaped phone case.

He removed the case from the young girl’s foot and discovered that the phone was badly cracked, apparently crushed when his daughter walked around the house.

The father added that he was not upset over the incident.

In the footage, Mr Deng is seen approaching the young girl, who apparently suspects she is in trouble.

She sits quietly with her head down, stroking her fluffy rabbit, as her dad bends down and removes the slipper she is wearing on one foot.

He then turns the case over and shows his cracked phone to the camera.

Meanwhile, the quiet girl gets to her feet, shoves her rabbit towards the door, and promptly leaves the room without saying a word.
