Moment LAPD Officers Taser Woman For Violating Restraining Order

This is the moment that any officers use a Taser on a woman for violating a restraining order by visiting her ex-partner and their daughter.

The incident occurred at a residence on 300 South Avenue 18 in Hollenbeck Area east of downtown Los Angeles, California in the United States on 14th March.

A man reported that the woman who was the mother of his daughter and who he has a restraining order against had come to his house again and was banging on his front door.

The man notified the police that she had returned to the house despite being warned by police earlier that day. He also confirmed that the woman was the mother of his daughter.

When officers assigned to the Hellenbeck Division arrived at the location, they saw the suspect identified as Maria Vasquez, 50. Despite the officers giving her a warning earlier that day when she was noticed in front of the same house, she had returned.

Approaching her, they gave orders which she ignored.

Trying to escape, she started yelling at the officers.

The officers then grabbed her and she started fighting back.

In order to stop her one of the officers used his taser.

The officers managed to get her on the ground while she still yelled profanities at them.

They managed to handcuff her as she was lifted off the ground still kicking around with her feet.

Maria Vasquez was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment where she was admitted for an injury sustained during her arrest.

After she was released from the hospital she was transported to an LAPD jail facility.

Vasques was cited and ordered to appear in court for Restraining Order Violations on 16th March.
