This is the moment a baffled mum comes across clumps of hair on the floor before catching her young son shaving patches off his head with an electric trimmer.

The cute scene was filmed in the city of Changzhou in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu and shared on TikTok on 11th August.

The boy’s mother, name not reported, said she spotted clumps of hair on the floor at home and promptly discovered her son shaving his head with a trimmer.

However, she had to admit that she found the incident funny and immediately laughed when she realised where the mysterious hairs came from.

In the footage, the mother follows a trial of black hairs on the floor until she arrives in her son’s bedroom.

She then catches her boy standing in front of a mirror with an electric shaver in his hand.

Meanwhile, the young lad has several bald patches on his head after apparently trying to cut his own hair.

The cute boy realises his mum is standing behind him and suddenly gives her a big toothy grin.

With his specs perched on the end of his nose, the cheeky lad asks his stunned mum “am I handsome?”
