Moment Russian Drone Bombs Ukrainian Base At 13,000 Feet

This is the moment Russian invaders carry out a drone strike on a fortified Ukrainian base from a height of over 13,000 feet.

The Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) said the drone hit the target with precision-guided munitions.

The MoD shared the video on social media on 11th March with the message: “Footage of a strike by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Russian Aerospace Forces on a fortified stronghold of Ukrainian nationalists.

“The strike UAV hit the target from a height of about 4,000 metres (13,123 feet) with precision-guided munitions.

“Unmanned aerial vehicles involved in a special military operation carry out reconnaissance, fire adjustment, as well as the combat use of weapons against targets.”

On 24th February, Russian president Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” to “demilitarise and denazify” Ukraine minutes before missiles rained on the European country.

Putin’s invasion has caused millions people to flee Ukraine, sparking Europe’s biggest refugee crisis since World War II.

Meanwhile, a 40-mile-long Russian military convoy is currently closing in on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv in an apparent attempt to overthrow the government. However, it has remained stalled to the north of the city for several days.

With a cold snap expected in the region, there are concerns in Russia that soldiers in the convoy could freeze to death if they run out of fuel to keep the engines running.
