Moment Russian Missile Systems Are Loaded On Train In Far East To Be Shipped West To Belarus Front As Tensions Rise

This is the moment Russian missile systems are loaded onto a train in the Far East of the country before they are shipped west to Belarus amid rising tensions between NATO and Moscow.

The incident took place in the Khabarovsk Krai region, which is located in far-eastern Russia, amid rising tensions between NATO and Moscow, which have led many to speculate that the former Soviet superpower may be on the verge of invading its neighbour Ukraine.

The images show two S-400 missile systems being loaded onto the train. The missiles are carried on a trailer pulled by a lorry, and both trailer and lorry are then seen being loaded onto the train.

The footage shows Russian soldiers carefully waving the vehicles forwards, helping their drivers drive them onto the open-top train wagon.

The soldiers can be seen placing various aids for the wheels of the vehicles to drive on as they are loaded onto the train.

The footage was shared online by the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD), which said in a statement obtained by Newsflash: “Two divisions of the S-400 ‘Triumph’ air defence missile system of the Air Defence Forces, involved in the verification of the reaction forces of the Union State, loaded equipment onto railway platforms in the Khabarovsk Territory.

“Upon arrival at the places where the training tasks are performed, the Russian military personnel will carry out equipment and camouflage of launch positions, maintenance of equipment and take up combat training for air defence as part of the Unified Regional Air Defence System of Belarus and Russia.”

The Russian MoD added: “The practical actions of the troops (forces) will take place at the Domanovsky, Gozhsky, Obuz-Lesnovsky, Brest and Osipovichsky training grounds, as well as in separate areas located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. It is planned to use the airfields of Baranovichi, Luninets, Lida and Machulishchi.”
