This is the moment three Palestinian siblings’ faces fill with dread when Israeli airstrikes interrupt their YouTube video shoot.

The poignant clip dates back to 2018 but has been reposted numerous times in light of the events in Gaza in the last few days, and has notched up over 660,000 views in just a few days.

It begins with Sama, Lean and Waleed introducing themselves and announcing they will take part in the popular ‘fire noodle challenge’.

One of the youngsters is heard saying: “Before starting the video please don’t forget to like, share and subscribe to our channel on YouTube.”

However, midway through talking, their faces freeze as the sound of falling bombs is heard in the background.

They then dart out of the kitchen, leaving the camera behind recording their voices as they call for their mum.

The clip was filmed in the Gaza Strip in 2018, according to Sky News Arabia, and was reposted on social media on 11th May, garnering sympathy among netizens.

Twitter user ‘Chimsverse’ wrote: “These are children, children who have to face this every single day.

“They were just trying to film a YouTube video, having fun, and the next thing you know they’re screaming in fear and pain.

“Please, please spread awareness and speak up.”

Some of the comments were directed at Israel, with ‘Hakim dawa’, for example, saying: “Allah grant victory to our brothers in Palestine.”

But ‘Iluvpicklz’ said: “Maybe the ruling government in Gaza should stop firing rockets into Israel. And hiding behind civilians.”

However, some appeared to be calling for peace, with ‘Rambhakt111’ saying: “Children everywhere are same. This probably happens in Israel too. Is Israel not getting bombed? We need to solve root of the problem instead of creating hatred!”

At the last count, 65 Palestinians and six Israelis have died as a result of the latest flare-up between militants in the Gaza Strip and the Israeli military.

Militants began firing rockets into Israel on the night of 10th May, and the Israeli military responded with airstrikes.

Over 360 have been injured in Gaza, according to local sources, and sixteen Palestinian children are said to be among the dead.
