PUPPY LOVE: First Baby Seal Ever Born At Zoo That Has Been Open 24 Years

This is the moment a newborn baby seal is recorded in its zoo enclosure with its mother.

The videos were taken in the seals’ enclosure in Songkhla Zoo, located in the South of Thailand, on 27th and 28th April.

The first videos show the cub minutes after being born interacting with its surroundings.

Another video shows the older cub besides an adult seal until it looks at the camera for some seconds.

In an interview with Clipzilla, the zoo director Wanchai Tanwattana gave information about the zoo and its animals, including the seals.

According to him, the star animals of the zoo are chimpanzees, Indochinese tigers, tapirs, Asian elephants, white rhinos, hornbills, and of course the seals.

When asked about the name of the seal, Wanchai said that the mother’s name is Connie, and the father’s Pocky.

He also said that the seal’s name will be decided by the general public submitting names with a prize for the winner of THB 10,000 (EUR 275 euros).

He added that the little seal is female, born on 27th April, 2022 at 3:25pm.

Wanchai also said that this is the first baby seal at Songkhla Zoo, which has been in existence for 24 years.
