Russia Shows Air Power With Night Fighter-Jet Exercise

This is the moment a Russian pilot takes off in a fighter jet at night and launches missiles at mock targets during a war-game exercise near the border with Finland.

The war games took place over Lake Ladoga near the Ladoga training ground in the western Russian republic of Karelia, bordering with Finland.

A squadron of the Kursk Fighter Aviation Regiment of the Western Military District, one of the five military districts of the Russian Armed Forces, performed night launches of airborne-guided weapons at mock enemy targets.
