Russian Attack Choppers Seen Using Machine Guns And Missiles During What Kremlin Is Still Calling A Special Operation In Ukraine

This is the moment Russian Ka-52 killer helicopters carry out “special military operations” in Ukraine and reportedly blast a camouflaged local base.

It is unclear where and when exactly the footage was shot but the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) stated that it took place during what it is still calling its “special operation” in Ukraine.

They can be seen travelling across what appears to be a snow-covered wonderland, that is until the helicopter gunships open fire with a machine gun on an unknown target.

A helicopter can then be seen firing missiles from one of its wings at unclear targets in the distance.

The footage then cuts to a Russian flag billowing in the wind before showing a group of Russian attack helicopters with the letter ‘V’ marked on them.

The footage then shows a Russian gunship approaching a heavily populated area before flying over some forestry.

Targeting images then apparently show one of the attack helicopters firing on a fixed position, with civilian homes visible in the background.

The Russian MoD released a short statement about the footage saying: “The crews of modern combat helicopters Mi-28n and Ka-52 launched air strikes on the fortifications and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Pilots of the Russian Aerospace Forces used missiles and small arms and cannon weapons, destroying tanks, armored vehicles and vehicles. The combat use of aviation weapons was carried out singly and in pairs in adverse weather conditions.”
