This is the moment a Russian motorist happens across two young bears scrapping in the middle of the road.

The bear brawl was filmed in the northern Russian region of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug on 5th July.

Two young bears were standing on their hind legs and slugging it out when a motorist suddenly came across them and slowed down to film the bizarre scene.

In the end, one of the bear cubs had pushed its rival onto a grass verge when the driver passed by slowly and they both stopped fighting due to his presence.

The news site Mash shared the clip on social media with the message: “A typical situation in Russia. You drive along the road and two bears are there fighting right in front of you.”

“It seems that the bear mother was resting nearby and did not accompany her cubs.”

In the video, the two standing bears are seen brawling in the middle of the road as the filming motorist approaches.

They push each other to and fro until one cub manages to shove its rival onto the grass verge.

The bears stop fighting when they notice the motorist driving slowly past.
