Russian Killer Drones Destroy Ukrainian Tanks And Fortified Defences

The Russian MoD has shared this video of a Russian killer drone allegedly destroying Ukrainian targets as Vladimir Putin’s invasion enters its third week.

The Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) shared the video on social media on Wednesday in a show of strength at allegedly destroying Ukrainian armoured vehicles and fortifications.

The MoD claimed that Inokhodets drones with high-precision missiles destroyed fortified Ukrainian defences as well as tanks and military vehicles.

The statement said: “The units of ‘Inokhodets’ attack drones struck the fortifications and armoured vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The combat use of the UAV [Unmanned Aerial Vehicle] was carried out in difficult weather conditions. The carrying capacity of the device is 300 kilograms.

“Pacer drones are able to climb to a height of 7.5 kilometres and reach speeds of up to 200 kilometres per hour, the radius of its application is 300 kilometres.”

The Russian MoD did not state where the attack allegedly took place.

Inokhodets-RU drones are developed by the Russian Kronstadt Group.

Director General Sergey Bogatykov said the drones are better than Turkish Bayraktar drones, which he claimed do not meet the requirements of the Russian military.

On 24th February, Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine in what the Kremlin is still calling a “special military operation” to “demilitarise and denazify” the sovereign European state.

A 40-mile-long Russian military convoy is currently closing in on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, however it has remained stalled to the north of the city for over a week.

Today marks the 21st day since Russia invaded the neighbouring nation.
