Serial Burglary Suspect Arrested After A Police Chase In Two Florida Counties

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office arrested a serial burglary suspect who assaulted a law enforcement officer and led the police on a chase around two counties.

The arrest took place in Martin County, Florida yesterday (16th of August).

The suspect, identified as Christian Ottinot, 21, is shown on video from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office ramming numerous police cars with the hope of breaking into another county. Ottinot bailed out of his Dodge Charger but was cuffed and questioned by Martin County Detectives, the SWAT Team, Road Patrol Units, and law enforcement from Broward and Palm Beach Counties within minutes after entering Martin County.

Ottinot launched his heinous crime spree in Broward County, Florida fleeing from cops after a spate of crimes. He rammed numerous patrol cars as he ran across two counties before reaching the Martin County boundary, where he was met with the one law enforcement barrier he couldn’t break down or pass over. So he jumped out of the car, raced down the street, and landed face down on the ground.

Christian Ottinot was apprehended and is charged with burglary, running and evading, and assault on a law enforcement officer, among other things.
