Shock Moment Boy Run Over By Car While Bending Down To Fix His Shoe

This is the shocking moment a boy is run over by a motorist while bending down to fix his shoe.

The incident took place in the city of Foshan in the south-eastern Chinese province of Guangdong on 7th August.

In the footage, the boy is seen walking along the street with his dad before stopping to fix his shoe.

However, a motorist in a parked grey car apparently doesn’t see the boy bending over and drives into the road.

The lad is knocked to the ground by the car, and at least one wheel rolls over his body.

Surprisingly, the boy gets straight to his feet, however, he then runs across to a shopfront and collapses to the ground in apparent pain.

He also seems to have blood around his opened mouth after reportedly breaking his jaw.

His dad then runs into shot and picks him up in his arms as the video ends.

The boy’s father, named Mr Li, told reporters at the Shunde Hospital of Southern Medical University that his seven-year-old son suffered broken ribs, a pulmonary contusion, a broken jaw, heavy bruising, and an ear injury. However, his condition is said to be stable and the lad is expected to be discharged after a period of observation.

Mr Li added that the motorist said he did not notice his son was bending over next to his car when he drove over him, and that they are in talks about a compensation package.
