This is the shocking moment a man appears to open the door of an online taxi speeding down a busy Expressway and seconds later falls out onto the road.

The incident was apparently shot on 4 July when the car door suddenly opened and the passenger fell out.

The man who shared the footage identified as Mr Luo said that the incident happened in China on the Changshen Expressway heading from Huizhou to Shenzhen.

According to local police who confirmed the incident, the vehicle involved in the accident was an online car-hailing vehicle, and the passengers who jumped from the vehicle survived and was sent to hospital for treatment.

The incident is under further investigation to discover why the man simply open the door when the car was moving and then fell or jumped out.
