This is the cute moment a sobbing girl and her younger brother go to the police station to report their mum for making them do their homework.

The video was filmed at Dongshan Police Station in the city of Nanjing in the Chinese province of Jiangsu on 9th September.

The children’s mother escorted them to the local police station because they wanted to report her for making them do their homework.

In the cute footage, the girl appears emotional as she sobs and pleads her case with the cops. Meanwhile, her nonplussed brother seems to have lost interest in their quest for justice.

According to reports, the girl became emotional in the station when her little brother told on her for fibbing about doing her homework, saying to one cop: “My sister was watching TV and playing on her phone.”

Police officer Wan Wei reasoned with the aggrieved youngsters, explaining the importance of studying hard and telling the girl that she must set a good example for her younger sibling.

The wise cop added: “Play comes after learning.”

At the end of the discussion, both children realised they were wrong to question their mother and they returned home to start their homework.
