This is the moment a man with no arms who is suspected of being a getaway driver for criminals takes some free time to show off his skills by driving a jet ski with his feet.

Leonardo de Souza Cavalcante, 23, was filmed on a tributary of the Amazon River in the Brazilian city of Manaus.

He could be seen dressed in a lifejacket and piloting the jet ski with his feet shortly after being released on bail after he was arrested for carrying an illegal firearm in Manaus on the night of 25th March. He is also suspected of being the getaway driver for the people that he was travelling with and involvement in other crimes where he was also employed as the getaway driver.

Despite lacking arms, Cavalcante became the first resident of the Brazilian state of Amazonas, estimated population 4,207,714, to gain a driving licence in 2017.

He was arrested however after the police received a tip-off about a man with no arms driving a silver vehicle that was allegedly part of a plot to carry out robberies on a street in Manaus.

The police arrived on the scene and arrested Cavalcante, seizing a revolver and ammunition he was carrying.

As there were no victims in the crime, Cavalcante was able to gain his provisional freedom by paying bail.

He was later identified by two prior victims as the getaway driver involved in previous robberies carried out by criminals in the region.

His getaway vehicle was also identified as it was specially adapted so he could drive with his feet.

It is unclear if he faces being rearrested since he was identified as being involved in further robberies and it was also not revealed what charges he faces over the firearms, and how he was able to use them if at all.
