This is the bizarre moment a whisky-swigging thief robs a phone shop in his undies.

The robbery was filmed by a CCTV camera in the mobile phone store in Diadema, located in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo, on 28th June.

In the footage, the thief is apparently seen entering the shop in his undies and a ripped T-shirt, possibly torn while forcing his way in.

The man lowers his pants, flashes his behind to the camera, and starts to look around the shop for items to steal.

He removes the ripped top, takes a swig from a whisky bottle, and tries on the shop owner’s sunglasses, lying on the counter in front of him.

The suspect then puts the glasses in a bag and apparently continues pilfering store items as the video ends.

Shop owner Tiago Cavalcante Pereira told local media that the man stole mobile phones, accessories such as phone chargers, as well as some personal belongings including his sunglasses.

Local media said the whisky-swigging suspect stole goodies valued at around BRL 6,000 (GBP 935).

The local authorities said they are trying to identify two individuals for robbing the phone store. The police were notified when the suspects triggered the alarm.

The investigation is ongoing.
