Tumour-Free Verdict For Rescued Turtles After An Eye Surgery

Four turtles can be seen with their keeper after an anti-tumour surgery, which saved their eyesight. Heather, Frankie, Franklin, Carrol were rescued by the Turtle Hospital, in Florida during the Hidden Harbor Marine Environmental Project. According to the video, the four turtles passed the first stage of rehabilitation, undergoing eye surgery, which allowed them to see further. Now the turtles are tumour free. They will go through a full rehabilitation course, after which they will be released healthy into the Florida Keys. It is likely that turtles will undergo further surgeries in the future. The cause of turtle disease is considered to be water pollution.
