The video was released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, who said the footage was filmed on Wednesday, 16th March.

In the footage, bomb squad experts from the police carry out a controlled detonation.

The Head of National Police of Ukraine, Igor Klimenko, said: “We are removing the remains of ammunition which are the evidence of Russia’s war crimes against Ukraine. The whole world must see and condemn the real destruction of the Ukrainian civilian population by Russian invaders.

“And even after our victory, the echo of war will be heard for a long time. For who knows how many unexploded ordnance are hidden underground and debris.”
