Unruly Passenger Forces Plane Diversion After Threatening To Kill Everyone Onboard

This is the moment an unruly man is restrained by passengers on a flight after claiming a woman behind him was trying to steal his DNA and then threatening to kill everyone onboard.

The incident was filmed during a Frontier Airlines flight from LaGuardia Airport in New York to Orlando in Florida, but it had to be diverted to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina on Wednesday, 9th February.

The footage shows a group of men pinning down the passenger as he screams and says “you can’t do this”.

After the filmed incident, Flight 1335 spent around two hours on the tarmac in North Carolina before continuing its journey to Florida.

The incident started when a passenger began shouting accusations at a woman in the seat behind him, claiming she was pricking him with a needle to take his DNA, according to at least one passenger on board at the time.

The man became increasingly agitated and reportedly threatened other passengers on the flight, including a baby.

After allegedly threatening to kill everyone on the plane, six passengers intervened and restrained the agitated man.

Meanwhile, police officers, firefighters and EMS responders were on hand at Raleigh-Durham International Airport for the unruly passenger to be escorted off the plane and detained.
