US Trooper Retrieves An Abandoned American Flag From An Interstate ZYT OYT

A Virginia State Trooper was recognized on social media for a patriotic gesture. Trooper M.B. LeSage’s patrol cruiser was captured on dash camera footage stopping on Interstate 64 near Williamsburg, Virginia to retrieve an American flag that had been left on the shoulder on 4th July. The video was published on Facebook by state police, along with the following remark from President Ronald Reagan: “When we salute our flag, we are saluting everything we stand for as a country: liberty, equality, justice, and hope.”
