This is the moment a woman screams for help at the top of her lungs whilst a man allegedly bundled her into the back of a van and drives off into the night.

The incident was recorded by an unidentified man in the city of Santa Clarita in northwestern Los Angeles County, California, on the evening of August 12th.

In the shocking recording the woman, who has not been identified, can be heard screaming at the of her voice “somebody help me!”

While the woman attempts to resist a man’s voice, allegedly her kidnapper can be heard coaxing her into the car saying: “Come on baby. Let’s go. Come on.”

The man recording the video shouts “stop” a series of times and after about a minute of recording calls on his friend, who also wasn’t named, to call 911.

The man’s friend seems confused about what’s going and hesitates before eventually calling 911.

However, by the time the pair get round to alerting the emergency services, it’s already too late and the van pulls away with the woman locked inside.

As the suspected kidnapper drives off the man recording can be heard saying: “What are you doing? Why are you doing this?”

The Sheriff’s department is currently investigating the case and appealing to the public for information on the van which they identified as a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with after-market solar panels and an air-conditioning unit installed on its roof.
