Local media said a whale carcass had washed up ashore due to a storm that was affecting the region. Locals tried to take it back to see but were unable, and the animal died.

Unknown people then moved the whale into a nearby forest, where they carved it up for meat. They left the carcass, which later appeared next to a cemetery where the bear reportedly found it and has not left it since.

The video shows the wild bear slowly eating away at the large carcass, which can be seen stripped to nearly just bone.

Residents are set to celebrate a day known as ‘Radonitsa’ when people visit the graves of their deceased relatives and bring food or drink as offerings.

People go on walks or have barbecues in the area, and children are also known to run and play there.
