Woman Lawyer Kidnapped By Armed Men Outside Court And Bundled Into Black SUV

This is the moment a female lawyer is kidnapped by armed men outside a Mexican court before being bundled into a waiting black SUV.

The incident was filmed outside the Civil Courts in the city of Tijuana in the Mexican state of Baja California, bordering with the USA, on Wednesday afternoon.

In the first video, two men are seen apparently forcing the woman away from the courthouse and up some steps.

The second video shows the suspects, with at least one seen with a gun, bundling the screaming woman into a waiting black SUV before driving off.

The woman, name not disclosed, has been identified as a lawyer, although the motive for the kidnapping has not been revealed by the authorities.

The local police confirmed that they found the victim two hours later about five kilometres (3.1 miles) from where she had been abducted.

The police said she was unharmed and that they took her to the public prosecutor’s office to file a report.

Despite images of the kidnapping being widely shared on social media, no further information has been released by the authorities on the suspects or the reason for the alleged abduction.

The investigation is ongoing.

According to the Secretariat of Public Security, the state of Baja California has registered 14 kidnappings during 2021.
