This is the viral clip of a US fitness influencer who calls himself the ‘Real Life Wolverine’ tucking into a raw brain and six uncooked eggs for breakfast.
Weam Brieche, who shares videos of his ‘carnivore diet’ and training regime on social media, shared his unusual breakfast clip on TikTok, where it has gone viral, with nearly 14 million views.
The influencer boasts 120,000 TikTok followers and 10,000 fans on Instagram and YouTube, where a number of his clips have gone viral, with over a million views.
The lean, mean, wolverine advises eating “raw beef brain” washed down with a glass of “six raw eggs” for breakfast if you “don’t have time to cook”.
In the viral video, Brieche is seen happily biting into the uncooked brain before taking a swig of raw eggs and informing viewers: “110 grammes of protein, 1,100 calories”.
The second video, viewed 1.1 million times, shows the influencer showing off his ‘meat freezer’, filled with “bone marrow”, “liver”, “kidneys”, “brains”, and even “some testicles”.
In the third clip, Brieche advises other carnivores to spread some raw butter on jerky as a replacement for toast before adding: “Maybe put some brains on top of it.”
He calls the snack a “brain sandwich”.
On YouTube, Brieche states that he is not a doctor and “none of my videos should be taken as medical advice”.
He also points out: “Raw meat consumption could be dangerous if not well-sourced.”
Other celebrities such as Professor Jordan Peterson and his influencer daughter Mikhaila have stated that they are on the carnivore diet, but point out that the reason is that it has been found to help their autoimmune conditions. It is not believed that they eat their meat uncooked.
Many health experts advise that eating raw meat can lead to developing food poisoning, as it could contain parasites like tapeworms or roundworms.
