Adorable Baby Elephant Wins Netizens Hearts Splashing Around In Paddling Pool

An adorable baby elephant from a US zoo has won netizens’ hearts after playfully enjoying his time in a paddling pool over the weekend.

The three-month-old Asian elephant named Brazos happily splashed around in his inflatable pool as his keepers helped to keep away his cabin fever, which had emerged due to the current winter weather.

The little elephant calf, who weighs over 600 lbs, is one of eight Asian elephants that currently live in the Forth Worth Zoo in in the US state of Texas.

Brazos’ excitement at the paddling pool was viewed by over 80,000 people, after the zoo posted the video on social media on Tuesday, 8th February.

It captioned the video: “Elephant in a tub! Brazos made quite the splash with his inflatable pool this weekend. His keepers helped keep the cabin fever away as the winter weather passed through with activities like this one!”

Netizen ‘Shari Diener’ commented: “How precious is this lil guy! So fortunate to have visited him! Love the Fort Worth Zoo.”

Online commenter ‘Kelly Macomber’ added: “I hope we make it in time to see him tomorrow!! Cmon Fort Worth Zoo its gonna be a beautiful day and its my birthday and I just wanna see this sweet baby again! Let him play a bit longer!”

And Facebook user ‘Devin Lawlis’ wrote: “Omg! He’s so darn cute! And that hair on top of his head is everything!”

The Forth Worth Zoo, which was founded with one lion, two bear cubs, an alligator, a coyote, a peacock and a few rabbits in 1909, is now home to over 7,000 native and exotic animals and covers an area of 64 acres.
